If the sink was damaged in an accident or through any misuse what so ever, it will not be able to be repaired under the limited warranty.  It is very important to keep any proof of ownership just in case you will need to use the warranty.  Because cast-iron bathroom sinks are so durable, however, using the lifetime-limited warranty may not even be necessary.
